| Some of the wreckage from the 21W derailment on February 18, 2025. It looks like most if not all of the buckets that derailed were dumped here and will probably be scrapped on site. There are a number of damaged shipping containers, a few still double stacked placed here as well. I assume these containers will need to have their loads, depending on what the containers have in them assessed for damage before being transferred to new containers so that the damaged containers can be scrapped on site as well. The new eastbound signals are Conrail bowling ball types with the standard plug-n-play generic signal masts that look more at home on a highway than a railroad. These signals are much brighter than the eastbound signals on track 1. I dont know if its because the signals are new and the lenses havent gotten dirty yet or if they are using LEDs |
