Portraits 4. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via Fred R. Kern that was taken at Union Station in Englewood, Illinois, c. 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5338, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata in March of 1918, streamlined in 1941, and retired in October of 1955 after 37 years of service.
