The loco was scrapped in August of 1959. No date, location or photographer was given for the photo.

Description:  CN #3547 was a 2-8-2 steam locomotive built by the Montreal Locmotive Works in August of 1923 as a member of the S-2-a class of Mikados. In this original photo, it was spotted heading up a mixed freight/passenger train. The note on the back of the photo states "Mixed train #218 leaving Ridgeway, Ont., April 12, 1958." Ridgeway is an unincorporated area just outside Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. No photographer listed on the photo.
